Antenatal & Postnatal Programme

Congratulations on your pregnancy, and welcome to Dunedin Parents Centre!  This is an incredible time, as you embark on your parenting journey.

Dunedin Parents Centre are thankful to have secured funding from the Otago/Southland Lotteries Community Committee to be able to greatly reduce our Antenatal & Postnatal Package prices in 2024-25.

Package 1: 2 year membership: ​$80

Package 2: 2 year membership (Community Services Card): ​$50

These packages cover:

• Antenatal Course (12hrs over 6 weeks or 2 days)

• Free Postnatal 'Baby & You' 5-week Course

• Free Infant Massage 5-week Course

• DPC Membership for 2yrs

• Free use of the Toy Library

• Free access to our Playgroups

• Free Parent Education courses such as Starting Solids and First Aid seminars

• Discounted Venue Hire

• Membership Discounts at Local Businesses

Dunedin Parents Centre relies heavily on fundraising and grant applications to cover the costs of running the Centre and offering these services.  

We wish to thank the Otago Southland Lottery Community Committee for their generous support to run our antenatal, postnatal and infant massage courses.

We also wish to thank the Dunedin City Council for their support which has enabled us to offer Starting Solids and First Aid for Parents for free to our members.
